Rusty Nail

The Drambuie mellows the Scotch and gives this cocktail a sweet and savory edge.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill a rocks glass)
1-1/2 ounce Scotch
1/2 ounce Drambuie

Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add the Scotch. Top with the Drambuie.

Irish Coffee

This is a simple version of a classic favorite.

Ingredients:
1-1/2 ounce Irish whiskey
Hot coffee (enough to fill mug)
Whipped cream (for garnish)

Pour whiskey into mug. Fill with coffee. Top with whipped cream.

Manhattan

This is a simple basic recipe for a Manhattan, which is essentially a whiskey martini.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill shaker about 3/4 full)
6 to 8 drops of sweet vermouth
2 ounces whiskey (American or Bourbon)
Cherry (for garnish)

Fill a shaker with ice. Add the sweet vermouth and the whiskey. Stir or swirl lightly, and then strain into a martini glass. (Note: Can also be served in a rocks glass filled with ice, if desired.) Garnish with the cherry.

Rum Sour

A rum sour is essentially a daiquiri with a garnish.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill shaker about 3/4 full)
1 ounce light rum
2 ounces sweet & sour mix
Orance slice and cherry (for garnish)

Fill a shaker with ice. Add the rum and the sweet & sour mix. Shake for about 10 seconds, and then strain into a cocktail glass or an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with the orange slice and cherry.

White Russian

This is a sibling to the popular Black Russian, but is mellowed with a splash of cream.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill a rocks glass)
1-1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Kahlua or other coffee-flavored liqueur
Splash of cream or half & half

Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add the vodka followed by the Kahlua. Top with the cream or half & half.

Black Russian

This is an easy and elegant favorite.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill a rocks glass)
1-1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Kahlua or other coffee-flavored liqueur

Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add the vodka. Top with the Kahlua.

Daiquiri

This popular drink is essentially a rum sour without a garnish.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill shaker about 3/4 full)
1 ounce light rum

Fill a shaker with ice. Add the rum and the sweet & sour mix. Shake for about 10 seconds, and then strain into a cocktail glass or an ice-filled rocks glass.

Long Island Iced Tea

This is a favorite in bars and nightclubs across the U.S.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill a tall serving glass)
1/2 ounce gin
1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce light rum
1/2 ounce light tequila
1/2 ounce triple sec
2 ounces sweet & sour mix
1/2 ounce Coke or other cola
Lemon wedge (for garnish)

Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the gin, vodka, rum, tequila, triple sec, and sweet & sour mix. Stir lightly. Top with Coke to achieve an iced tea color. Garnish with the lemon wedge.

Whiskey Sour

This is a simple recipe for a popular classic.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill shaker about 3/4 full)
1 ounce whiskey (blended, Bourbon, or Canadian)
2 ounces sweet & sour mix
Orance slice and cherry (for garnish)

Fill a shaker with ice. Add the whiskey and the sweet & sour mix. Shake for about 10 seconds, and then strain into a cocktail glass or an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with the orange slice and cherry.

7 & 7

This classic highball is still a favorite at bars, weddings, and holiday parties.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill a highball glass)
1 ounce Seagram's Seven (blended American whiskey)
2 ounces Seven Up

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add the Seagram's Seven. Top with the Seven Up. Do not stir. Serve with a sip stick or straw.

Kamikaze

Unlike our shooter version, this Kamikaze is served on the rocks to be sipped and savored.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill a rocks glass)
1-1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce triple sec
Splash of Rose's lime juice
Lime wedge (for garnish)

Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add the vodka followed by the triple sec. Top with the lime juice. Garnish with the lime wedge.

Kamikaze Shooter

This is a favorite in casual local bars.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill shaker about 3/4 full)
1-1/2 ounce vokda
1/2 ounce triple sec
Splash of Rose's lime juice

Fill a shaker with ice. Add the vodka, triple sec, and lime juice. Swirl or stir lightly, and then strain into a small glass.

Spritzer

This simple wine cocktail is a classic and refreshing favorite.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill glass)
White wine (enough to fill glass half-full)
Club soda (enough to fill glass half-full)
Lemon twist or lime twist (for garnish)

Fill glass with ice. Pour the wine into the glass, until the glass is half-full. Top with the club soda until the glass is full. Garnish with the lemon twist or lime twist.

Margarita

This is a classic version of everyone's favorite Mexican cocktail.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill shaker about 3/4 full)
1 ounce tequila
1/2 ounce triple sec
1/2 ounce Rose's lime juice
1 ounce sweet & sour mix
1 lime wedge or lime slice (for garnish)

Fill a shaker with ice. Add the tequila, triple sec, Rose's lime juice, and sweet & sour mix. Shake for about 10 seconds, and then strain into a margarita glass. (Ice and/or salt rim optional but recommended.) Garnish with the lime wedge or lime slice.

Tip: If you like a salt rim on your margarita glass, a rimmer can make the job easy. Buy one.

Tom Collins

This classic tall drink is still a refreshing favorite.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill a tall serving glass)
1-1/2 ounce gin
3 ounces sweet & sour mix
1/2 ounce club soda
Orange slice and cherry (for garnish)

Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the gin and the sweet & sour mix. Stir lightly. Top with club soda. Garnish with the orange slice and cherry.

Martini

This is a classic version, made with either gin or vodka.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill shaker about 3/4 full)
6 to 8 drops of dry vermouth
2 ounces gin or vodka
Olives (for garnish)

Fill a shaker with ice. Add the dry vermouth and the gin or vodka. Stir or swirl lightly, and then strain into a martini glass.

Screwdriver

This classic vodka & orange juice drink is easy to make and even easier to drink.

Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill a highball glass)
1 ounce vodka
2 ounces orange juice

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add the vodka. Top with the orange juice. Do not stir. Serve with a sip stick or straw.
